Description of 🚴 Black Newbaum’s Cloth Bike Handlebar Tape - 10ft Roll, 0.75” Wide for Road Bikes - Cotton Adhesive Back Bar Tape for Handlebars - 22 Colors Available

Superior Cotton Grip Tape: Our black cloth tape for bikes is made of milled cotton that is made in the USA. Each roll is 10 feet long. (Just remember that you will often need 2 rolls of cotton bar tape to completely wrap your drop style handlebar). The cotton cloth is thin and tough which allows for solid grip, necessary movement and precise wrapping. Easy to Wrap & Install: This road bike tape handlebar roll features an adhesive back that adds installation convenience and helps the bike bar tape to stay on securely. The slim diameter and non-synthetic cotton weave tape allows you to pull a little harder to achieve a tighter, more precise wrap. Real Cotton Vs. Synthetic Foam Tape: Though not a padded bar tape like most modern synthetic road handlebar tape, our cotton handlebar grip tape has BETTER flexibility and strength and RESISTS tearing better in a crash or during installation. This thin ribbon black handlebar tape offers a tactile, more direct connection to the bike that professional racers in the old days preferred. RETAINS its grippiness better in wet weather. Eco-Friendly Material: At Newbaum’s, we believe in using eco-friendly dyes for a lower impact on the environment and, of course, cotton is a renewable resource. This bicycle handlebar tape is available in over 22 colors. Athletic Tape Alternative: So, whether you use our black bicycle grip tape as an Acrobatic Grip Adhesive Tape, (such as lyra tape, aerial hoop tape, or trapeze grip tape,) or it is one of your cyclist gifts for men and women, this cotton cloth bar tape will meet your expectations.

Too short to wrap both sides of handlebars.

Quality seems good. But the roll of fabric was too short to wrap both sides of the handlebars. I also thought it would offer a little more cushioning, but the fabric is thin and gives you more feel on the road than padding for comfort. Just be aware that it feels different than cork tape. I would also buy two rolls so you have enough to finish the job. I'm switching back to cork tape which ends up being cheaper as I only have to buy one pack.

Peloton Bike Handlebars

So I bought a Peloton bike about a year ago and my hands fell asleep on the stock handlebars. So I bought some pipe insulation and after being a road bike rider for a very long time, I decided to use what I knew would work to wrap the insulation with, yes, Newbaum's Cloth bar tape. It works great and took about 7 rolls to cover the entire area and now no more sleepy hands. The tape lasts about 8 months after which sweat starts dripping but I just caught the loose ends and keep going so I've…

⭐️ Sturdy handle, comfortable and durable. ⭐️

Overall I think this is a good handlebar tape. I've used it on both of my bikes. It is not as soft as cork tape but can be made spongy by wrapping the rods twice. A secure grip and no harsh plastic chemicals seeping into your hands. [ASIN:B003BSU11Q Newbaum's Handlebar Tape, Black]] It initially took me a roll and a half to wrap each of my bikes, but if you like softer ones like me, it takes twice as long to wrap each of my bikes. work is right. I have used 3 wheels on each bike and am very…

Hockey stick tape sticks better, is smoother and thinner

I made 2 bars with this tape, 2 bars = 4 rolls of 10ft for $5.96 per roll = $23.84. The adhesive tape "slips" on the first handlebar, leaving behind bare aluminum strips after about three months of driving and has to be replaced. I just bought 80 yards of hockey stick tape, 4 rolls of 20 yards each for $16.99. Hockey Stick Tape sticks better, is smoother and thinner. I doubled it and it's as thick as this stuff and feels better on my hands. I like it a lot more than that overrated, underrated…

Ideal for a variety of uses other than bicycles.

I believe this is the same tape I used many years ago but this time it was not for a bike but for the steering wheel of a 2002 car which surface has become slippery over the years is (and 250,000 miles) wear. Not only was the steering wheel smooth, it was made of a hard material and was cold on winter mornings until the entire cabin was warmed up, making the early morning commute even more uncomfortable. However, the main problem was the smooth surface, which made it difficult to grip and thus…
