The rings are very tight.

First of all, the picture is not representative. Mine came with a gray mechanism and gray rings. never mind But I couldn't get the rings off the thing. I had to clamp it in a vise with protective polymer inserts and unscrew it with a pipe wrench, and even that isn't easy. I've been using newborn caulk guns for many years and this is the first time I've come across it. I wish it came with the black rings they used. Now that I've taken them off I can't put them back on without much resistance and

Very nicely done.: Cartridge Guns

After unboxing this gun I was impressed. The design has been improved and the trigger and stock are very smooth. The quality appears to be on par with much more expensive sausage guns sold in specialty stores. I like how it works with both sausage and 10 ounce cartridges, although I already have pistols with 10 and 32 ounce cartridges. The additional pressure plate for bulk goods is also a nice feature, although I will probably only use this gun for sausage packs. The real challenge comes when…

Sausage gun only

I bought this to use primarily with loose and occasional sausages. I had everything set up to work with loose sausages during the day, but I needed to switch to using them with sausages. No problem, all I need is a screwdriver. Pressed about 10 sausages worked perfectly without any problems. Nice new pistol cleaned and ready for today, had to go back to ground work the next day, no big deal if a screwdriver breaks. Unfortunately I'm about to fit a double Hytrel bowl and tapered ejector spine…
