Reliable Automotive Sensor for Crankshaft Position

Excellent replacement part that precisely captures engine speed without any hiccup... Through trial and error, I found that installing this sensor solved the fluctuation in my car's idle speed. The sensor also ensures smooth engine start-up and improved fuel efficiency. However, installation requires basic automotive knowledge..

Pros
  • Easy replacement of Crankshaft Position Sensor
Cons
  • Difficulty in installation for those not experienced with automotive repair

Sensors aren't worth it

This $20 part cost me an extra $150 to fix my car because it was a DOA part. So the mechanic had to disassemble the air intake, remove the starter motor, etc. To remove it again, AutoZone shipped him a new one that cost almost $100 more than the one he bought. So buying this part cost me almost $250 more and due to Covid I had to wait to get my car and it's too late to even get a $20 refund for this DOA part. Buyer beware
