🔧 Efficient Oil Filter Housing Cap Wrench Remover Tool - NewYall Review

Description not clear. I bought and returned it because this tool was small for a 2007 Volvo XC90 oil filter housing cover.

Fits perfectly over the plastic filter cap but as it doesn't snap it easily falls off or gets stuck in the bottom of the cap. Seems like a pretty big omission.

Makes life with a 2004 Volvo xc90 a whole lot easier. Judging by other complaining reviews, yes, the tool is not 100%. Stop whining! You literally have to rotate the tool <1/16 turn to remove the tool from the filter housing. It's lightweight but will definitely outlive your car.

Works like clockwork. Socket and hex screw options for rotating the filter cover. Super Saturday and solid die-cast aluminum construction - if only the filter housing were as strong as a wrench. The only trick is getting the right size and now that I've spent the money it seems like I'll be changing the oil myself from now on. but it's normal.

Some other reviews mentioned it was difficult to put on or take off whilst I found it had a slight 'play' - it was little more than a cap oil filter. It worked well because you could tighten it and then to loosen it you changed the direction of the ratchet and it popped right out. If it had more "play" it would probably slip, but what I got was just right. And you should never overdo it. It feels well made and sturdy and fits my E 92 well.
