Driver Side Power Door Lock Actuator Latch for Left LH - NewYall Review

Easy to install. I used the green part of the factory latch to hold the latch mechanism as I read it would break easily. The OEM has a red latch. Everything else works great.

Although Revain has stated this part would fit my 2012 Ford Focus it is not. The harness connector is different and the part itself is larger. I think this is for 2011 and older models.

Part worked but green clip (pink on Fords) was 90 degrees off where it should be. Holds a vertical bar so it must function vertically. Not a big deal, but you have to pull it out again to release the clip and rotate it.

Product fits and works however the lever used for the lock cylinder is not supplied with the unit. The lever is clearly visible in the picture on the web. I had to install it so that I could close the door but not open it with the key.

Broken after 1 week! The electronics work, but the plastic is cheap. Keep your pink factory plastic bar. This piece of plastic broke and could not open the door from the outside. I only had to open the driver's door from the inside. Luckily the broken factory lock survived and the plastic part was replaced, but the door had to be completely disassembled again.

So I bought this item on February 9th, 2020. Today, September 19, 2020, I went out to go on my escape. I opened the door, sat down, closed the door, started the car, closed the door again. I found that when the car door was closed, the small latch at door height that was attached to part of the frame broke, so I had to replace that part again. It's cheap, I made a mistake buying it. It broke after 7 months in a car I don't drive much. Buy the best brand.
