Defective door lock in the engines

So I bought this item on February 9th, 2020. Today, September 19, 2020, I went out to go on my escape. I opened the door, sat down, closed the door, started the car, closed the door again. I found that when the car door was closed, the small latch at door height that was attached to part of the frame broke, so I had to replace that part again. It's cheap, I made a mistake buying it. It broke after 7 months in a car I don't drive much. Buy the best brand.
