Not for 04 Tahoe. Bolt holes do not match. I think it would be nice for those who need it, but unfortunately I wasted a whole day.

Worked great in my 03 Silverado Z71. Wheel arch tidy. Feel like a new truck. Disturbing noises have also been eliminated.

It was a little painful to get out, eventually pulled through the firewall to the engine after removing the grommet covering it. Then it was easy to get out. I couldn't get it out from under the dashboard, but a new one can 👍🏻

I've had this part on my truck for about a month now, no problems with it. The part went in very easily and I'm pleased with how well it works. If you are replacing this, be sure to replace the plastic bearing while you take everything apart. I will post again in about a year to update reviewing the long term survival details.

Best price I've found for an upper countershaft. It took me 30 minutes and only 4 tool sizes: 9/32 for the outer dash panel, 10mm head for the metal plate behind it (4), 15mm ratcheting box wrench for the 2 bolts that hold the shaft in place hold, and finally a flathead screwdriver to pry the bearing apart. If you're at this point, buy the stock for $25. There were no issues and it was the last thing it took to tighten the front of my Tahoe 05.
