Product worked as described. I had to try other high power settings before the scanner cleared my maxxforce 13 from the engine over speed code. It usually costs $100, so I'm very glad it's already paid off. He also found glow plug readings on my F350 diesel.

When I used this tool to clear fault codes on my 2001 International 4900, the truck computer was cleared by this scanner! wtf! The truck worked before I hooked up this piece of junk and now it doesn't! No response from the computer after executing the Clear dtc function. Almost no instructions but I have two other OBDII readers so they can't be much different. I plugged it in, turned the key to the ACC position and the gauges on the dash started flashing and the sensors started going up and down. Powered off, disabled everything and tried again with the same result. He actually read the code on a Cummins M-11 engine, could NOT read the Allison transmission and also the ABS computer. ABS was my biggest interest and I got nothing. The second biggest interest was AT, and there was nothing either. Then I tried a 2006 crossover truck and was amazed that it couldn't find a way to communicate through the OBD-II connection.
