I don't trust this brand.

This thing lasted 200 miles. The electrode and ceramic fell apart while driving uphill at 65 miles per hour. I had to limp with the 3rd cylinder to the next Orielli. Instead, he chose Bosch. Expensive for nothing. DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND. The E3s I've replaced have over 75,000 miles on them. By the way, I'm a mechanic with 30 years of experience. There is no noticeable increase in performance compared to the E3 and Bosch.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Very expensive

Should have stayed with NGK - Hands down the best

Works great in my 2005 Prius and worth every penny! NGK were the original spark plugs in the car when I bought it new. I drove 94,000 miles with the original spark plugs before being forced to replace them, although the car still ran great and still got 48mpg. I have used another brand with 94k miles and while they were good they were not as good as the original NGKs. I changed them again today after 184,700 miles and went back to the NGK Iridium IX. A great fork no doubt and my trusty Priusโ€ฆ

it is NOT compatible with Toyota Yaris 07.

Not suitable for 2007 Toyota Yaris Sedan. I put them on and the car just jerked and lost a lot of power. It also had a horribly rough idle. I didn't like the engine at all. They took it to a Toyota dealer, they said the candles don't match this car. So I was told to buy a Toyota Denso or Denso SK16R11. I bought a set of Denso's from Advanced Auto down town and had the dealer replace them themselves. They were kind enough to let me do it and not charge me anything. After that the car was fineโ€ฆ

Only use NGK products for Subaru vehicles. They are better!

Having owned Subaru's for years, I've learned that they can be very picky about the spark plugs and spark plug wires they use. For reasons I can't fully explain, Subaru works best with NGK spark plugs and ignition wires. shoot properly. All four were Bosch and I replaced them with these NGK Iridium plugs and instantly I got a power boost in the car and it worked like an absolute charm! I am doing my best to replace the spark plugs in all my Subaru with NGK and NGK wires.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Older model

Look no further. Worth the extra $$

My '01 Forester has done 185,000 miles and started to stutter a lot under acceleration and just felt "tired". After reading about similar symptoms and possible (simple) remedies, I decided to try the first step - new spark plugs and new spark plug wires. After reading all the reviews I decided to "go big" (haha) and invest in these NGK (5464) BKR5EIX-11 spark plugs and the NGK (8691) FX58 premium spark plug wire harness. The best $65 investment I could have made. The problems are gone. The carโ€ฆ

5 star product - must have - that's why!

This is the third time in 12 years that I have replaced the spark plugs on my 1999 Miata Sporty aka Silver-Bullet. 14,000 original miles and as I was preparing it for an upcoming security check, I immediately heard an audible "miss". Just don't ever take it out on the road too often again just because I don't trust parking attendants and other drivers, especially those with broken blings! 4 cylinders = 4 candles. The replacement was extremely simple, easy and hassle free, as was the #2 bottomโ€ฆ

A good spark plug.

The Japanese car we drove started at idle and lost power. I recognized this syndrome. It's time to change the spark plugs. The car came from NGK and I still enjoy using them. Over the years I've seen many spark plug designs and features come and go. I have avoided split, bifurcated or other spark plugs as well as old fashioned copper core spark plugs. Iridium spark plug seems to be the best spark plug. They were available with Prime shipping. I ordered them and installed them. Whenever Iโ€ฆ

BEWARE! FAKE NGK CANDLES!

These spark plugs are not original NGK Iridium spark plugs. I had my suspicions when Japan was listed as the country of origin when this particular fork was actually assembled in the USA. I called NGK support here in the US and spoke to a woman who asked for a four digit hexadecimal number. The part number on this connector kit is invalid and I have been advised not to fit these connectors on my car. It's been over a year since I've ordered them but I usually keep an extra set for each car soโ€ฆ

No more rough idle! My engine is running smooth and quiet again.

My Subaru was running a bit rough and it was time for new spark plugs so I decided to upgrade and tried the iridium ones. The old spark plugs had about 50,000 miles on them and were long overdue for replacement. The OEM connectors were platinum and I am told that platinum connectors can last up to 100,000 miles. Of course, this is not the case because after 50 km everyone was fouled. I installed new iridium spark plugs and suddenly my engine was like new again! Idling was quiet and smooth, asโ€ฆ
