NGK connects every day.

In the 1970's I switched from NGK spark plugs to another well known brand to get a race team sponsor. Two weeks later he returned to NGK with fork problems and won. My rep from another fork company understood. We, I haven't shied away from NGK since then.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Modern

NGK is the highest quality, period. Fun Fact: I work as an engineer at Toyota Corporate and NGK and Denso spark plugs are factory fitted to our engines. So far, all the Japanese engineers I've asked (including many who work for Denso) have admitted that they only use NGK spark plugs in their cars.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Without automatic transmission

Quality spark plugs at a great price

No need to put $15 spark plugs in a 20 year old car that has the 'old school' spark plugs that are in use today local car dealerships for a dollar or two. Department store or large discounter. These NGKs are an extreme quality upgrade and typically last 3-5 times more miles than other brands with minimal maintenance and cleaning when needed. I use NGK in all my bikes and cars/SUVs having just installed 5 of them on my 1999 Volvo V70 along with new ignition coils. (no typo, yes 5)

Pros
  • Value for money
Cons
  • No

Spark plug with excellent performance! Highly recommended!

It's funny to think that these "cheap" copper connectors fit my BMW M3 E36 better than expensive platinum connectors. I have used both Platinum and Iridium connectors in my M3 and have found that these connectors work much better. The only downside is that they need to be replaced more frequently to maintain optimal performance. Does fork performance outweigh fork life? That is for me. I usually change spark plugs every year or so. I consider it normal maintenance and it's worth a few bucks…

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • Only available in white

Cheaper and BEST spark. BETTER than Platinum/Iridium/Unobtanium

Cheapest ever turned out to be the best spark for my GTII Turbo Golf Simple Physics: Silver, Gold and Copper are the finest conductors of electricity known to man. 1. Pure silver tarnishes with oxygen and is brittle, so it has never been used in spark plugs.2. Gold? Resistant to rust, acid and stains. BUT it is quite expensive, especially in its pure form (18K-24K)3. So it all boils down to copper: cheap, VERY conductive, but decaying pretty quickly. Since the turbo engine pressure absorbs…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • No power
