Worked as expected for spark plugs

Installed them on a 20 year old Corolla. Candles are in good condition and arrived quickly. I ordered four of these and they came in a four plug multipack. No complaints.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • -

Seems to be best in Ignition Spare Parts

Got these to replace spark plugs in a 2005 Toyota Matrix that I received. It still has the original Denso in it. I thought they would improve idle and MPG. Well, about the same if not worse. Maybe just the nature of the animal.

Pros
  • Complete Kit
Cons
  • Something Else

Make no mistake with OEM

Make no mistake with OEM. I love laser iridium! They don't cost $3-4 like some, but last a lot longer than some. Try to stick with what your car came with (what the manual says). I don't believe in upgrading parts like spark plugs to improve performance. That calls for trouble.

Pros
  • Nice item
Cons
  • For old

This is a spark plug - copper is the best conductor. My 2000 Corolla had platinum spark plugs. The directions on the cylinder block are marked with iridium. Iridium will last longer but there is no difference in mileage - I'm sure these candles will last at least 40,000 miles.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • sad hardware

Works GREAT in the Prius

I've had a BAD experience with Bosch spark plugs. except the bad. After that I got fed up with NGK spark plugs and have been using them ever since. They have never let me down and still burn clean after many miles. We use many old Crown Victoria police cars for work and immediately swap out the spark plugs for NGK plugs. They always work much better and cleaner with NGK. I will continue to use NGK spark plugs until I have a good reason not to. The prices are always good too.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

These plugs last a long time.

Identical original candles replaced by these. I thought it would be a good idea since my car had 157,000 miles on it. Three of the four old candles were clean. One looked like a piece of the electrode had come loose, but it still worked fine. I had no error codes. After that I didn't notice any improvement after driving it the last two thousand miles. But I felt better. I think these spark plugs could easily run 200,000 miles or more.

Pros
  • Not only usable for the intended purpose
Cons
  • There are defects
