NGK V-POWER FOR 4.3 VORTEC

Great plugs for my 03 Silverado with 4.3 Vortec V6. I used to fit AC Delco double platinum spark plugs but they were missing which caused the engine to run rough at less than 1,000 miles with spark plugs on. Immediately after switching to NGK, the engine ran smoother and was much more responsive in all RPM ranges and completely stopped misfiring. My friend said he had never seen a 4.3 V6 engine idle so smoothly.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Japanese, not Chinese.

Some reviews here say these are Chinese plugs made in China. Not true, these are high quality JAPANESE forks made in Japan. They may not give you the mileage you want. But which plug will still get you that many miles, especially at this price point? I've used NGK in all sorts of things and in my example some things prefer NGK, some Autolite, some Denson, some AC, some Champion. You just have to find what "IT" likes.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Expensive

So far so good. Don't tell anyone but I put these Chinese candles in my 302 91 Foxbody. They seem to work great and even got rid of my check engine light. It had high mileage Ford Platinum plugs installed by the previous owner. For the price I will only change them once a year and move on. They worked better than the platinum candles they contained, but they were obviously old.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Expensive

Good spark plugs 4 good price

Can't lie I was definitely hesitant to buy these Japanese made spark plugs; but the reviews were good and the price even better compared to ac delco and other well known brands. My trusted backyard mechanic just did a complicated install on a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix, the spark plugs were never changed. That's a huge difference in starting power and my mechanic swore by it when he said he's replaced many other cars with these ngk spark plugs and their quality parts!

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Good rates at Revain but "Emptor Reservations "

The price was right, they arrived on time. I installed them about two months ago. Last week my engine started to run rough and the check engine light came on. So I checked the code which showed a misfire in one of the engine's cylinders. I checked all possible causes and found that the spark plug on the seventh cylinder had failed. This came as a surprise so I bought a new spark plug from a local auto parts store and installed it, the engine runs fine again. I haven't used NGK spark plugs for…

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • Very expensive

Not for 5.3 gmc best spark plugs

I installed them on my 2011 gmc not 100 miles down the road my truck was working like crap checked online for symptoms and got a new sensor for the Mass air flow fitted, new fuel pump was still working poorly, read the blog and someone mentioned plugs, if not AC plugs they would work terribly, they were right, changed plugs and are working great now. Amazon said ngks is the right choice. WRONG I invested $100 in a truck because the spark plugs were wrong and the fuel went from 18mpg to 14mpg…

Pros
  • hands free
Cons
  • communicate with seller
