Description of Niagara N59848 Non-Center Finishing Cutter
Miniature end mills create the intricate cuts needed for precision industries. Four flutes produce a better finish than fewer flutes. Carbide can run at higher speeds than high-speed or cobalt steel, offering increased wear resistance and high cutting temperatures. Uncoated (bright) tools have no additional surface treatment or coating to retain miniature end mill’s tight tolerances. Square nose end mills (also called square end) create sharp, unrounded cut.
Very good end mill. I've only used it to cut aluminum and wood, but these bits are very sharp and show no signs of wear. Very happy with this purchase!
Product cuts well but is incorrectly advertised as 1/32 (0.031") diameter when in fact it is a 0.038" diameter cutter head. It might seem like a small difference, but when you're doing detailed work, it matters.
