This has to be one of the worst product designs I've ever seen. The small screw holding the shield is the same screw that holds the blade in place. When you remove the screen you have to unscrew the screw all the way and most of the time it just pops out of its hole allowing the razor and parts to fall to the floor. This is how it should work.
