These fanny packs are great for running. It's very thin but fits some essentials like a phone, some cards/cash and keys. However, this particular model is not ideal. The extension on the strap (for loosening/expanding) is cheaply constructed to allow the excess material to slide back and forth. I have another waist pack that rolls back and securely encloses the excess material.

I've been wearing this for over 9 months now. Before I bought it I read the reviews and noticed that so many people complained about it falling apart so I was very careful with the zipper and tried to be as gentle as possible when picking my phone put in and take out. As long as he's still alive! I hope it lasts a long time because it's great, it's very light and comfortable to wear and walk in.

Overall I think this is a great running bag and I use it almost every day but I have some issues with the waist belt. When I walk underneath with athletic tape, everything stays in place and I don't even notice it.
