I'm walking on the street. I don't think they would be suitable for trail running. I'm landing on the midsole so I don't know how it will be for someone landing on the heel or ball of the foot. I've dealt with plantar fasciitis in the past and didn't get a discount on wearing it. I also have weak ankles, but I've never sprained my ankle in it. I don't run more than 10 km at a time. I have driven them about 200 miles and they are still in fantastic condition. They are responsive and lightweight.
