I use this pen for copper calligraphy. That's a wonderful tip. It glides smoothly over the paper. Some pens don't work well on plain paper, but I find this pen works well! This is my pen when I need to use rough paper. It produces nice upstrokes and a decent heavy downstroke. and did I mention how smooth it writes? Will buy again.

This is just an awesome G Pen Nib. I've been using it for about 16 years and the quality has always been top notch. They don't have as fine a hairline as Tachikawa or Zebra, but they are softer than Tachikawa and a little more manageable than Zebra, to illustrate. You really can't go wrong with Nikko (or Tachikawa or Zebra) nibs. .

best price today. They last longer than other brands I've tried. They have all the goodness and great features of a G Pen, they don't rust and last longer than other G Pens I've tried. I draw for hours almost every day and get anywhere from 2 weeks to a month for ONE of them. Doing the math means I usually have to buy 2 of those 10 packs a YEAR. It's a damn good deal.
