Big lens in a small body

Good compact wide angle zoom. Initial tests showed excellent resolution, and the 14-30mm range means I can use it on my Z7 most of the time. At 30mm it focuses fairly close and at 14mm the low distortion is outstanding.

Lighter, smaller, sharper

I love this lens. I almost went through a popular auction site with a cheaper import seller, but read that some of these lenses can suffer from off-center elements. I didn't want to go through the hassle of sending it back to China and waiting months for a fix if I had a problem. The reassurance of a US-warranted lens was worth the extra cost. I can save money elsewhere.

Light, durability, clarity for camera lenses

I was on a landscape and wildlife photography tour in Big Sky Montana and Yellowstone National Park. I have a Nikon Z6 but I wanted a native wide angle camera lens and was avoiding the Z mount so I bought it a few days before my trip. It worked perfectly. It's lightweight so I was able to hike and travel with ease, it was clean and crisp around the edges when used. Very happy with it.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • A negative impression

Camera lenses

Given the size and weight, you can't ask for more. I like the extra reach on the longer end and use it up to 30mm. While 14-24 F2.8 might sound impressive, I still never shoot with a 2.8 ultra-wide lens. The image quality is very good and can be used wide open without hesitation. This lens is as sharp as my Nikon Z 24-70 F2.8. With IBIS in the body, you can shoot at a shutter speed of 1/5 and get excellent, sharp results.

  • Easy-to-read control panel
Cons

Great wide angle lens!

Very sharp, light and amazing! I mainly use it for real estate photography on a Nikon Z6 and I love it. I switched from Sony and this setup impresses me every time I use it. It's super sharp from edge to edge and has excellent image quality. It has some distortion at the 14mm wide end, but I mostly shoot at 16mm to fix the problem. Don't hesitate, take it today and thank me later.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Great landscape lens.

I was thinking about buying the Sigma 14-24 f2.8 or this one from Nikon. The reason I got this was to eliminate the need for an FTZ adapter. After the first shot (attached) I knew I had made the right choice. The lens is almost as light as the 24-70 f4 I bought before, but the faceplate is wide, but I can put a CPL filter on it because it's flat on the faceplate. With the Sigma I couldn't use the CPL and all the other filters were reinstalled on the lens before it was attached to the camera…

Great architectural lens

This lens came in handy almost immediately upon arrival, documenting every room in our new home and our son's new home. Either way, it was able to cover a much wider field of view than the standard 24-70mm kit lens, which is great, although this lens can serve other purposes as well. There were concerns about sharpness variations around the corners with this lens, but I'm fine with that. Sharpness at all angles, even at the widest position. Despite the wide field of view, it doesn't have any…

This lens is really good.

Let me start by saying that I didn't plan to like this lens. My main criticism of the announcement of this lens was that it wasn't 11-24mm or 12-24mm. While I wish Nikon would eventually release a wider lens, I've concluded that they struck a great balance with this lens. The lens weighs next to nothing and doesn't take up much room in your bag thanks to its compact design, which gets even smaller when you put the zoom in storage mode (the lens essentially retracts all the way). Regardless, the

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

It has a parking mode when its length decreases. The camera knows about this mode and informs you when it is turned on about the need to switch the lens to the operating mode. Some pros: Compact in length. Lightweight enough. Silent focus. Multifunctional manual focusing ring. Aperture sufficient for most ideas, especially considering the parameters of the matrix in terms of ISO. Virtually flat front lens that allows the use of round filters without restrictions, even in Slim format Cons: Well,
