📷 Nikon 50mm f/1.8 AIS Pancake Style E-Series Lens Review

Lens not focusing. Rotated to infinity the lens focuses up to 18". I tried it on Nikon FE, d100, d3100, d7200. I returned it and got another one. It doesn't focus at all. I turn the focus ring, the focus changes not The focus ring is stuck about halfway - not smooth at all.

Everything is fine! The lens is in very good condition as stated in the description. The focus ring is smooth and precise. This is very important for a manual lens. There's a small amount of dust inside, but who cares? They do not affect the actual image quality. I've been traveling through Germany for a few days with this tiny lens and I'm very satisfied! Due to the size and focal length very well suited for street photography.

Received this lens about a week ago and love it. It shoots straight to my Nikon D5100 with no problems and only works in full manual mode. Live View is functional and videos captured with this lens are really excellent. The depth of field is amazing and sharper than any other lens I've ever used on a camera. I bought this lens to take macro shots with the lens upside down. I wanted something cheap but well made and happened to find one that was selling like new for less than $70.
