I am an adventurous motorcyclist. Gear for this hobby can be insanely expensive. My Rev'it Tornado Textile Jacket cost $350 and it's a mid-range jacket! The recommendations on their website were very helpful. I first washed my jackets (2 at a time) with 3.3oz Tech Wash in a front loading machine on a low spin in warm water. Immediately upon completion, I filled the liquid soap dispenser bowl with 3.3 ounces of Soft Shell Proof and ran it on a low spin in warm water.
