The product is not the same as in the picture. No foam around. paper volume. Clear sound and loud, but the item is not as pictured and has a reduced throw.

I used this on a damaged home theater subwoofer and it sounds great. I think it looks more like a sub than a sub, but a cheap fix that sounds ok.

A bargain for the price. I bought two to replace blown speakers in three-way enclosures. The sound is crisp, full and I can turn them on without clipping or distortion.

This thing is worse than the blown speaker I replaced it with! Wouldn't recommend and never buy again! I know the price is very low but like everywhere you pay for what you get! Lesson learned!

speaker diameter fits, but the rim doesn't cover the entire opening. I had to tune the speaker to be as safe as possible. After connecting, the sound is excellent, the speaker does not pant. I would do it again if the other speaker had blown :)

The price is great for what you get, a solid speaker. I use this in a "rock" shaped case for outdoor use. I replaced the broken one with the original one. Very happy with the sound outside by my pool.

I bought this to replace the subwoofer in my old Klipsch SW-8. Even at half volume it starts to distort. I wasn't expecting much from this but wanted to use my old subwoofer in a different setup and am not impressed. It would probably be fine for a woofer in a 3-way setup.
