The only downside is that the glass is a bit flimsy so you have to be careful not to drop it or hit the countertop when cleaning it and I wouldn't trust it in the dishwasher. I've been making cold drip coffee in a much cheaper coffee maker for a while now and I love it. The problem with my cheaper device was the drip valve. You set it to the perfect drip and be back in 5 minutes and it's stopped completely. This device completely solved this problem for me. Just set and forget. I like it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because it doesn't have a lid. I want to be able to take a 1000ml "jar", put a stopper on it and keep it in the fridge for a couple of days. I

Makes really great coffee and really easy to use. approx. 45 g Use the filter from below and from above. Use a slow drip 1 drop every 2 seconds (or longer) - adding ice makes no difference, to be honest. There is a bit of a learning curve and it takes around 6 to 9 hours and coffee lasts around 3 days in the fridge. Now and then the center floods, mostly because it drips too quickly. Pretty good cold brew coffee maker. The glass is heat resistant and of high quality and despite other reviews I don't see it breaking unless actually dropped on a hard surface.
