Battery Operated Collar

I've found that battery operated collars are easier to care for and look brighter in the dark. USB charged collars typically only work for 3-4 days before being recharged and don't last that long before they stop working altogether.

Pros
  • Sturdy Construction
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

Ideal for finding your dog in the dark

This is our third purchase of this dog collar. We have small, medium and large. We have a black labrador retriever puppy and it is perfect so we can see him at night and not trip over him. We can also easily find it in our large fenced backyard. The battery is also easy to change.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Functionality

Very bright on plain collars

Bought for our poodle pointer who is very difficult to see in the dark. We only usually wear it for night walks so it's really easier to see him when he's out in the garden. I like that the battery is replaceable, the collar I bought for another dog a few years ago doesn't allow you to change the battery.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Only available in black

Durability and Peace of Mind

This collar fits my dog perfectly for several reasons. First, it's great to let her out in the backyard and find out where she is when it gets dark. It's also great when we go for a walk because other hikers and cyclists can see it. I'm also happy to know that when she breaks free, people driving down the street will see her. Great collar!

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Unfashionable

Helps you see your black dog at night

Helps you see your dog at night or in a dark forest when the dog is off the leash. I was hoping you'd be easier to spot in traffic crossing the street with your dog, but apparently drivers these days are too busy checking their phones instead of looking at the road. I still like it and the fact that it runs on a battery that doesn't need constant charging.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Not all will fit

Great light in collars, harnesses and leashes

This adjustable headlight works great. It illuminates the entire orange band. Easily seen at night for a dog that likes to play hide and seek. Works so well we ordered a size 2 for winter. Definitely worth every penny. Walking your dog at night is great too. Highly recommended. Bought other headlights before and they were just "good" and short lived. I only wish we had started with this guy!

Not worth it in my opinion. They are not as good as before!

First of all it was very difficult to fold in the packaging. I thought it would get softer but never did. It was bright enough, but it was very difficult to turn on and off. Now after 2 months of use I changed the battery and it doesn't last. Something is wrong with the button. I know you think I must have done something wrong. But this is the second collar I have, the first served my dog for about 5 years, we received it as a gift. All I can say is that sometimes change isn't good.

Pros
  • certified GOLS
Cons
  • old

Fine as long as it lasts (Works like a collar.)

The collar is fine - only $11 but don't really waste your money on it. The light only lasted a month which is normal but it is very difficult to replace the battery. You'll need a special small (tiny) screwdriver (Phillips), and even if you have the right one, the screws are so tiny and cheap you'll inevitably snap them off. Once you open it, you basically have to take everything apart to take out the battery. Also, the light isn't that bright even when the battery is fully charged, so it's…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Some flaws

It works very well!

I have tried several collars with lights - this is the best option - you can see your dog at a distance of 100-150 meters. My only complaint is that the collar is very stiff. The light in the collar glows reddish - no matter what color you buy (I have orange and red for two dogs, but the color is the same when switched on). I use it for an hour every morning - and have been using it for about a month. The battery looks like it's easy to swap out and totally safe. My dogs hit each other…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
