It was bigger than I expected so it took up quite a bit of space but I like it and made a corner version of it anyway. My hamster loves it and I no longer have to worry about him ruining the sand. A small hamster like mine can have a hard time getting outside so it helps to put something inside him to step on.

It says small but it's more of a medium size but I'm happy with the purchase, my little princess loves her new sand bath. What I like the most is the top platform because you can put a bowl of water or food or a toy on it. I have bought many products from Niteangle in the past and will continue to do so because I find they have the best natural products for hamsters.

Very easy to care for! My little hamster's top gets dirty and I just use a sponge and some soap and give it a quick scrub and dry. I had a small sandpit for her that fit her but was a little tight. So I bought her this sandbox and it definitely has more sand in it! There's a lot of sand in there, so it seems too small for her in the video. But with the right amount of sand, this box is big enough for a Syrian hamster. It's more than I expected which doesn't bother me at all because half the top has a lid so it's like a raised platform - I like to put fresh fruit on this platform for my hamster so he doesn't get his bedding dirty .
