For one thing, my battery was too hot to record.

While I put 1 star; I have requested a replacement. I tested with 4 sets of batteries (2 different types) and the right side charged to the last light, after which it just kept flashing. The last time I decided to see if it would ever sell; it isn't, but I couldn't remove this battery without a kitchen towel because it was so hot. My advice is to keep an eye on the first batteries you try to charge.

What a great purchase for a great charger at a great price.

Headlamp I purchased at the same time as this charger. The headlamp came with a 2" rechargeable battery. When it was dead, I took out my headlamp and took a casual look at the universal charger. I suddenly realized that the headlamp's battery can be charged with a smart charger. Fast and Powerfully charged Just like a universal remote control for electronic devices, this universal charger makes life easier Very important.

Nitecore vs. TrustFire and UltraFire

Quality product with a good design that has worked very well so far. Nitecore products are more expensive than similar products like TrustFire, UltraFire etc. BUT they are infinitely superior to these other companies.
