NIVEA Kiss Moisture Essential Care Review

update - my review was hidden for "confidential content". I wouldn't order these if you put them on Don't plan on playing $16 for a lip balm. I love this product except I ordered 6 and only received 1! I read other reviews that said they only received 1 lipstick but I thought it was an accident but now I've found that it wasn't.

I have already ordered this pack twice. LOVE this product for how hydrated my lips felt. The new product is too thick and just sits on my lips without moisturizing at all. Nivea, please bring back the old link in the photo!

The original product had a lower melting point so was very smooth and hydrated like a cream but had a soft sheen that didn't feel like sheen. After it was washed off my lips felt more hydrated for a long time like we have fresh and healthy skin. This new material is more waxy and appears to be trying to repel moisture as a water barrier. The downside is that once it's removed, the lips don't feel moisturized or nourished.

The new formula is terrible. I've been using this product for years, I get six packs every 3 months. I opened the pack I received in November and it was completely different. It used to be smooth and light, now waxy and heavy. Another reviewer mentioned that her lips didn't feel moisturized after rubbing, and I agree that the new formula just sits on your lips and doesn't leave them as soft as the old formula. This product was my favorite lip product. a picture with a logo in a circle on the tube - the old formula is good. Tubes with a vertical logo on the packaging - this is a new formula. it's terrible. It's hard and waxy, this listing. I miss the guide because they show the old packaging in the selection so I bought it but you get the new formula. two different products - bait and switch.
