Dealer wanted to replace a lot. The local mechanic gave me a part number and I found it at Revain. My mechanic changed the part for free. It was a great investment.
Installed these in a set of 20 inch wheels from a 2018 Chevy Silverado HD2500 and then installed the wheels on my 2013 Chevy Silverado HD2500. Need a scan tool to relearn new sensors on the car, sensors work great!
Replaced all 4 sensors a few months ago. One came out 3 months later. Replaced by seller. Now another sensor is not working. Even less than a year. Too expensive to install. It's cheaper to cover the bulb with black electrical tape.
I have a shop and had another brand that needed programming before fitting and after 2 problems I switched to VDO and had no problems. Easiest to install and program, you'll need a tool from the store to retrain the sensors, but we've never had a problem. Should have done that a while ago
I am so happy! On my expedition in 2008 the sensors started to fail. Tons of research and quotes worth over $400 depending on what the service shop finds. I dared and bought 4 of these sensors and installed them. (Walmart hooked me up and made all 4 for $40) also bought a Ford EL-50449 conversion tool from Revain and it worked great! Just under $200 and my TPMS system is fixed!
Product was perfect for my 2008 Escape. Problem was none of the shops believed it would work for the car. I told them to just install and do it right. Luckily I had an inexpensive Ford TPMs conversion tool. Your tool didn't work, but 10 copies worked for me. It worked as described. Just know that Walmart and les Schaub are not sure if they will work.
