Fill out an account. suitable for home theater

The product works well, especially considering its small size. Perfect for the active center channel speaker system I had in mind.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • For old

High-performance home cinema device

Even more power when operated via your own 24 V DC power pack 100 watts only with 24 V supply. Much energy. No bass or treble controls and no RCA inputs, which I thought was a compatibility issue, but I bought the necessary mini-cables.

Pros
  • There's something in it
Cons
  • A lot

631Hz constant high pitched note plus hum

I used this to boost the sound for a medium sized speaker I have and ended up removing it from the equation due to the hum and piercing high pitched sound . a tonal note that kept ringing. Noise and ringing persisted (1) even after disconnecting the 12V DC power supply (deep cycle battery) and (2) even without any input. Once I took the amp out of the equation, the sound was perfectly clear. true, softer :) Maybe this amp is only for subwoofers?

Pros
  • Many will fit
Cons
  • No autotune

A lightning strike paralyzed my home theater and both Yamaha amplifiers. Fast forward a few years and I bought a Yamaha ATS1080-R soundbar pretty cheap. It has internal subwoofers and honestly sounds good for a soundbar but not like a dedicated subwoofer. It has an RCA jack for a subwoofer, so I went shopping and found that most subwoofers available are much larger than a soundbar, so I revisited my blown Yamaha amps. At first I thought I'd redo the amp from the inside, but it's part of the…

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Not everything fits

#1) The 19V power adapter that comes with this unit is not enough for the advertised 100W. You will need a 24V power supply, but you won't find this in the documentation until you've purchased the product. I would recommend that you buy the model without the power supply (is a few bucks cheaper) and then buy the 24v power supply itself. . I had NOT connected any speakers yet, but I could hear sound coming out of the box. There are no speakers in this box. I don't know what is creating this…

Pros
  • Rugged Construction
Cons
  • Interval

Guitar/Bass/Instrument Power Amplifier

I've tried it as a guitar power amp, from a preamp pedal to a mixer to Nobsound and to a 15" speaker cabinet. I measured some decibels using a phone app and this amp was able to push the speaker to around 120dB peaks - pretty loud. There was some distortion to keep this loud though. This was tricky because this amp has a lower input sensitivity than I'm used to with most instruments, so I really had to turn the mixer output down (about -20 to -15 on the master meter). However, it was fairly…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
