Description of Nobsound 100W Full Frequency Mono Channel Digital Power Amplifier Audio Mini Amp (Black) – Superior Sound Amplification for Audiophiles

This full frequency amplifier adopts brand-new TI TPA3116D2 amplifer chip, which can offer 100W powerful output and 90% efficiency. Compared with other similar products on the market, it also uses a NE5532 buffer op-amp to achieve more powerful performance. Its super mini size can be easily hold by one hand, which will be a good match for your desktop. Power supply (not included, search ASIN: B074J81XRB to get one): DC 8-25V; at least 3A; higher voltage and current within the limitation would bring higher power. The subwoofer version (search ASIN: B072KDNW3F / B071GL4C9V) is used for a subwoofer, while the full frequency version is used for a normal speaker (please note it is for one single speaker, not a pair. So if you have a pair of speakers, you should buy two full frequency amplifiers).

Great little amp!: amp

Bought to connect an extra center speaker that I use to listen to music in the basement via Airplay. I actually hooked it up to a 12v power supply I had and it works great and puts out enough current for its size. There are also no problems with hum or heating. For the price unbeatable.

Low cost.: Home Audio

Purchased to power one speaker per subwoofer channel. I paid €34 for the amp alone. It said I could use any 5-19V DC power supply. I already had a good 19V DC power supply, so I didn't buy their $14 power supply. But the connector on my PS didn't fit. In fact, out of the 6 hp I have, not a single plug will fit into the power jack on this amp. It would be better if the amplifier had screw terminals for power supply. But since I didn't want to buy their PS, I sent the amp back. Instead I got a…

Relatively low distortion

Small built-in loudspeaker for musical instruments. This offers a compact amplifier without much heat. Things to note: The negative side of the power supply is connected to ground, as is the common side of the input connector. However, both outputs are floating between ground and positive power. Anything you connect as a load must be isolated. I drove the amp with a signal generator and looked at the output with an oscilloscope to see how much switching noise there was at the output. The…

I wish they were a standard width between banana plug outputs.

I also wish they had put a standard RCA jack for the mono input, but this can easily be bypassed. They deliver 50 watts of sound into 8 ohm speakers. Use 2, one for the left channel and one for the right. Best of all, if one of them fails (nothing makes that impression) I can just signal in series and feed both speakers 50 watts each as 4 ohms x2. It will be mono, but it's nice to have fault tolerance. I used my power amps at 150 watts each and realistically 150 watts is no louder than 50…

Actually controls a large electrostatic!

This is the third Nobsound amplifier I have bought. My intention with the full frequency mono amp was to include the center channel in my AV system. I currently have an Anthem preamp and power amp with Martin Logan electrostatic speakers. My intention was to replace the big machines with smaller amps and speakers. Out of curiosity, I hooked up Nobsound to the ML center channel. This is a 5 ohm impedance speaker with 89 dB efficiency, which is more than 100 times the cost of the amplifier…
