Due to the low speed (max. 2250) rpm and the staggered input, they are very quiet for 80mm fans. at 50% PWM (1150 rpm) they are practically inaudible when they are 60 to 90 cm away from the PC. Based on the specs they even match the airflow of some 92mm and slower 120mm fans, although I haven't really been able to verify that. alone. Legacy systems, hard drive fans, home theater PCs, etc. that conform to the 80mm standard are silenced by fans, and they somehow seem to be just as good (or…

I doubt you can find a quieter fan

This fan is quiet and the performance is reasonable. Personally, I don't care about colors. But from the packaging to the sheathing of the wires, you can tell this is a quality product. There are two things to note. First of all, if your motherboard has a 4-pin PWM header, you cannot run this fan at a fixed speed without modifying the power cord. If you need fixed speed fan, please buy 3pin version. It has slightly different noise and airflow characteristics, but they're close. I am assuming…

Blissful sounds of silence.

This rating applies to both the 92mm and 80mm versions of this model, 4-wire units with motherboard speed control. If you, like many consumers, agree with the fans installed by the manufacturer, look at such fans and their costs and say "aha". Ironically, I am/was an IT pro in the same situation. units] for home use, the fan noise I hear at work [in a separate IT room] has become unacceptable in our home office. Did a little research and came across this brand. Granted there are other…

Absolutely silent at low numbers

Obviously they are much better than the stock Nidec fans in this SuperMicro JBOD. Deducted a few stars because I had to modify the hot-swap cartridge (it's designed for 36mm, these are for 25mm, the thicker ones are out of stock). I also had to grind down one of the key pins on the 4 pin connector. It was designed for a 3-pin slot, but the existing connectors only fit the connector with the tabs on the end. In the last picture you can see that Noctua has no top pins that allow the cartridge to…

MISSING FAN Alienware AURORA CHASSIS DESIGN REQUIREMENTS

A fan missing from all Alienware Aurora chassis from r1-r12. Nothing has changed inside. There is still no air cooling and only room for 1 120mm water cooling radiator. If you're using SLI, you can't install GPU liquid cooling, and your GPU literally faces the bottom of the case with no room for air. There is only one fan facing the back of the GPU and that is the front fan. One of two fans in one compact package. Fans with speeds up to 3000+ RPM come standard, which is pretty impressive. But…
