Oddly I don't have a car. I live in the city and bought this to soundproof my apartment. I put several of these panels on the inside of the front door to block out noise coming into the hallway. TBH, RAAM Matte is the best material but I can't quite justify the price. This material is about the same thickness and a fraction of the price. 80 mil is the thickest material you will find on the market. I'm repairing my 2000 Dodge Caravan. I pulled out the seats, floor and carpet. I noticed a lot of noise even after insulating the walls with foam, reflex and carpet.
