Description of Nokian Tires Hakka blue 3 205/55 R16 94V summer

Nokian Hakka Blue 3 The Nokian Hakka Blue 3 summer tire is designed for dynamic passenger car versions. It is characterized by increased tread elasticity, thanks to which it can be used from early spring to late autumn. It features improved grip on wet surfaces, sporty handling, acoustic comfort and smooth running. Wet performance This model features Dry Touch 3.0 technology, a set of technical solutions designed to reduce the risk of aquaplaning. First of all, this is an increased volume of longitudinal grooves that contain a significant amount of water. In addition, the shoulder zones contain drainage elements of a special shape, further increasing the intensity of the water flow. The center section features Swoop grooves that collect and channel moisture into the longitudinal grooves. As a result, even at high speed, the probability of formation of a continuous water film in the contact patch becomes minimal. Acoustic comfort To reduce noise and vibration while driving, several technical solutions are also used in the tire design. One of them is hemispherical recesses on the walls of the longitudinal drainage grooves. They prevent the occurrence of turbulence in the air flow passing through them, give the longitudinal ribs sufficient mobility to absorb vibrations that occur when the tire is rolling. As a result, the noise level is reduced, both outside and inside the car. In addition, such recesses significantly reduce the uneven wear of the tread, increasing the mileage of the tire. Optimized compound The tire''s tread is made from the Cool Blue Hybrid rubber compound. Its key feature is the combination of increased elasticity and abrasion resistance. As a result, the tire remains grippy on cold pavement in early spring and late autumn, exhibits a smooth ride and acoustic comfort on uneven surfaces, while featuring a long service life. The main features of Nokian Hakka Blue 3 - an effective drainage system effectively prevents the formation of a continuous film of water in the contact patch; - low noise and vibration levels due to an optimized asymmetric tread pattern and special hemispherical grooves on the walls of the drainage grooves; - Cool Blue Hybrid rubber compound allows you to use the tire early spring and late autumn, while ensuring a long service life.* Attention: summer tires of non-Russian origin may be marked with the designation M + S

Just super, it's beautifully made, I'm very happy with it.

In April 2022, Nokian HAKKA BLUE 3 225/45R17 94W began to be evaluated on public roads during normal daily driving. Made in Finland, at the end of July 2022 (2921). Installed in mid-April 2022 on the car AUDI A3 Sedan 2.0 QUATTRO 2022 onwards, (190hp, DSG, all-wheel drive). Tire pressure recommended by the vehicle manufacturer: main 2.6 / 2.4 (front / rear),comfortable 2.3 / 2.1. After 1000 km. Mixed driving mode, city, suburb, highway (percentage of distribution: "city" 75-80%, "highway"…

Pros
  • Excellent behavior and grip on wet pavement. Handles well on dry roads (read more in comments).
Cons
  • Increased rolling noise. Harshly transmits points from large irregularities.

Rubber is just great. I go to her second day and do not rejoice. It feels like I bought a new car: so comfortable and confident grip. In the rain it holds the road as easily as on dry pavement. Direct WOW! True, at low speeds, the passage of pits is felt, but this, I think, is still running. At the tire shop, after installation, they said to drive up in a couple of weeks and check the tire pressure. By the way, the wheels have an extended warranty, which must be activated after purchase…

Pros
  • Road grip, noise
Cons
  • at low speed harsh on the pits

Fuel consumption has noticeably grown by about 0.5 liters per hundred on the same route home - work after Michelin. When accelerating, you need to press the slipper harder to disperse the car. It behaves well, but speed in corners and when changing lanes, but when maneuvering, when at low speed it is necessary to make a sharp turn, it feels vile - rather unpleasant sensations.

Pros
  • Moderately quiet. Good handling. cornering stability
Cons
  • Breaks on tight turns High rolling resistance.
