Description of Nokian Tires Hakkapeliitta 9 SUV 215/55 R18 99T winter

TS32381215/55R18 99T XL Hakkapeliitta 9 SUV TL (studded)Nokian Tires Hakkapeliitta 9 SUV studded winter tires are designed for owners of crossovers and SUVs moving in harsh winter conditions. In the ninth generation of their legendary Hakkapeliitta tires, Finnish engineers and technologists have combined a number of innovative developments aimed at increasing durability, safety, environmental friendliness and effective grip on winter roads. The Nokian Tires Hakkapeliitta 9 SUV is the first winter tire with a unique concept of functional studding in which two types of studs are used in the tread. The structure of the studs located in the central zone of the tread has a unique body geometry with bevelled edges and a carbide tip. This ensures efficient transmission of traction and braking forces in the longitudinal direction and increases the penetration of the studs into the icy road surface. The studs of the shoulder areas of the tread have a transversely oriented body structure and a carbide insert in the form of a three-beam star. This structure works effectively when cornering on slippery roads. The directional tread pattern that proved effective in previous generations of Hakkapeliitta tires has been optimized and has received a number of technological innovations. The developed network of supporting 3D sipes has significantly improved the braking and traction characteristics of the tire on slippery roads. The supportive locking effect consolidates the tread blocks into a single piece, improving handling when maneuvering. SnowGrooves technology is responsible for improving the traction and grip characteristics of the tire on snowy roads. It provides effective tire grip on snow, both in longitudinal and transverse directions. The aggressive SnowBoosters technology helps to maintain block rigidity in extreme situations. The Nokian Tires Hakkapeliitta 9 SUV is the first winter tire to have sidewalls reinforced with AramidSidewalls aramid fiber. This made it possible to achieve a high level of reliability and durability in unforeseen situations. Aramid fiber reinforces the rubber compound of the sidewalls, making it more resistant to tearing from external shocks and obstacles.

Not a bad product, nothing extraordinary.

I was able to put these tires through their paces on a Mercedes E 212. I logged 33000 miles on my car this winter. I couldn't get enough of it at first, but then something drastic happened, and now the highway is so noisy that I'm convinced my hubs and every bearing in my car are failing. My previous five hakapelita never had this issue and all they did was dig in soggy oatmeal.

Pros
  • Works effectively at high speeds on the track, snow, and asphalt.
Cons
  • Extremely obnoxious; they nest in damp porridge.

Best thing for the money, glad I did it.

I got it for a decent price, and while everything else about it is satisfactory, the Michelin star is obviously superior; it gives the impression that you are driving in the summer while equipped with summer tires. Got pros: Gentle and reassuring in nature. Holds lateral drift nicely. On the ice, you have good acceleration. Its cons: Occasionally unusual and lacking in informativeness braking. The Michelin xice n4 has a louder engine than its predecessor. At any pace, however, the noise remains

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

The Land Cruiser 200 Automatic. For an SUV, you'll need tires measuring 285/60 R18. The cold pressure is 2.3%. Since I rode Hakku 8 in the same car last season, she will serve as a benchmark (Hakki 5 and 7 also rode automobiles, so this is not a fair comparison). I put up close to 20,000 kilometers between October and April. I took it easy on the tires for the first two kilometers. Avoiding jerky motion during the beginning of acceleration, deceleration, and cornering. across a distance of one…

Pros
  • Superior traction and stopping power for the snow and ice of winter driving; strong control and stopping power in both dry and rainy conditions; not stuck in a rut comparatively peaceful; solid, cushioned spikes for landing
Cons
  • Cross-country performance falls short of expectations, only works okay on dry pavement, costs too much, and has a manufacturing flaw (cracked rubber).

The quality is top notch, be sure to try it.

Below are some advantages: Holds the road well, and there is no problem at all with driving on ice, in contrast to stickies, which make it impossible to drive on ice. Consists of: It is really noisy in comparison to Velcro, however the noise does not disturb me in any way.

I don't want to spend my money on this item.

Who cares about the video ? v=Z5C0IwvTqNA (watch from 2:30) When turning at 30 km per hour, I went into a side skid, my car turned almost 180 degrees andcomllided with the trunk lid on the side of the truck. Road accident on level ground. It is clear that the brains of the Tiguan 4wd, for some reason, turned on the rear-wheel drive when skidding. But from tires for 12.3 I expected more for the bottle.

Pros
  • Manufacturer's Warranty
Cons
  • Very noisy tires, the road with wet snow keeps very poorly in corners, does not prevent side skidding.
