The perfect replacement block.

Ideal replacement for a 1996 Allegro Bus Norcold fridge. Installed in about 5 minutes and the refrigerator's self-ignition is up and running again.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Works well and very easy to install.

I couldn't get a spark before but I was able to light it manually. I replaced the module in minutes and immediately got a big burning flame, very happy.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Damaged

NorCold "cool " part

Okay, this expensive part was a perfect match for my 6082 series model. I first downloaded Bryant's NorCold manuals in PDF format. Well written NorCold repair manuals with pictures. , . make ice cream again.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Blank

He fixed my Norcold 6162

My Norcold would not fire. Installed this in about 10 minutes and it reignited but would not ignite unless I used a BBQ lighter. I adjusted the gap for my igniter and both the fridge and freezer work like new and light up all the time.

Pros
  • Outstanding Design
Cons
  • Negative Gift

Fixed my fridge

Our fridge worked but it ran on propane so I had to light it manually. I checked everything because from what I've read it looked like the control module was the most unlikely culprit. We're back to work and the fridge is working great.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Bad experience

Brought my 3rd way straight back to snooping. .

Got my third track back in service. I noticed the ignition but it didn't "ground" I think the computer indicated the light was on. The new ignition control module worked wonders. , change the hole and spark igniter while you're in the assembly. No one wants to be SOL 500 miles from an RV dealership

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Unreliable

Fixed Flame Sensor Igniter

This solved my problem with the flame sensor not working. My fridge lit properly but didn't feel the flame and shut off. I tried changing and adjusting the lighter but nothing changed. I also made sure to remove the wasp nests and debris from the burner tube and exhaust. I replaced the external side panel after reading reviews that said it fixed the same issue I was having, but again it didn't fix my issue. After this was installed, my fridge caught fire and worked properly again.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Only available in white

Perfect, best for ECUs

I used the Bryant website to troubleshoot my vintage 1999 Norcold 600 fridge (website is phenomenal) [.] All tests up on one led to a malfunction of the igniter. In my case, both AC and gas worked on power up when selected, but there was never a pilot light. The red signal lamp did not light up. The 110V side worked as expected. Bought a lighter and plugged it in. Worked the way it should right away. Extremely satisfied. The device has a connector for the controller and then a wire to the spark

Pros
  • Sample for a year
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
