Probably one of the most ridiculous disposable kitchen gadgets I've ever bought. Works reasonably well and is faster than manual spotting but can be difficult to line up the pits/holes. There are definitely splashes from this tool.

For the price this is a very decent little cherry stoner. My only complaint is that the dotting rod doesn't line up perfectly with the hole it has to go through to remove the cherry (would get stuck on the top ring of the medal instead of going to the cherry), which takes my probably 5 minutes has extended 30 minutes ossification. This is a very simple and handy tool. When you don't need anything fancy and just want to get the job done, this cherry pit is perfect. I was afraid it would be flimsy compared to the price I paid for it but it has held up after a month of general use. I even let my two year old son use it when he helps me make jams and cakes.
