⏰ Norpro Black Digital Clip-On Timer for Cooking, 99 Minutes Review

The timer signal is loud enough for a standard kitchen. The display is a bit small, but still easy to read. The clip could be more helpful. But still works fine. If you move around a lot in a large kitchen, there are a lot of people around and you bump into each other, this is not the best choice. Just wanted to post a photo for those who haven't read the product specs and were surprised by the size of the timer. Like me.

When I first saw this timer, I thought it was small and thin. I was wrong. Many timers are latched, but the typical clip is held in place by a coil of wire that quickly detaches and cannot be permanently secured. This timer is dedicated to the clip and a small digital face that spins in circles, making it very easy to read wherever you take it. I keep thinking about buying a backup but I might lose it before I need it.

I have type 1 diabetes. I have to inject insulin from two separate insulin pens at least four times a day. There are times when I take out my pen but can't remember later if I was actually taking insulin when I took out the pen or if I chose to wait until I prepared a meal or not I took insulin without really thinking about it one way. Now I reset the knob as soon as I take it out so it shows 00:00 but doesn't work. When I take insulin I start the timer to look at the pen and when it says 00:00

My husband puts a self-rising pizza in the oven, turns on the timer and then wonders where he is can't hear the timer. I'm tired of yelling at him because the alarm clock is going off. He has tried to carry a kitchen timer (flat base and magnet on the back) but always put it somewhere and forgot. Of course I could hear the alarm throughout the house, but not his.
