3-Piece Norpro Multicolored Colored Paring Knife Set Review

Presented. I am giving this review after hearing a review from a friend of mine. I can say with confidence that she is crazy about these knives, they are very sharp and easy to use.

I have a set very similar to the one I bought from Williams Sonoma. They are really good, light weight and I prefer knives as they cut everything. The price is right and they got here at a very good time.

Without thinking of a new knife, I cut the bottom of a large Brussels sprouts (they are really tasty) and almost opened a crease my thumb. I haven't cut myself since so I find them less sharp.

Like tiny (my favorite!) cutting knives, they are sharp and great for medium cleaning. The blade is so hard that it sharpens well and lasts a quarter of a day. With constant sharpening, they last about 2 years. Worth the price.

I like the pointed tip and slightly longer length than most paring knives. Cheap and sharp, especially after 20-30 passes when honing steel. I haven't tested them before, but they turned out to be sharp. They cut great. A set of three should last the rest of your life.

Nice knife set. I've had these knives for a few months now and I still love them for their sharpness and ease of use. I even cut myself, they were much sharper than all my other knives, almost like a razor. So be very careful until you get used to it. They stayed sharp. The blades are strong and capable of slicing tough winter squash with minimal effort without bending the blade.

Norpro are a well known brand for kitchen utensils and this paring knife set lives up to the standard. Arrived just a few days after ordering. Not that it matters much, but I do want to point out that the packaging itself was really inviting and soft. The knives are made from good quality steel and the shaft runs the full length of the handle so the knife will not fold over. The rivets hold the shaft and fit together snugly. I'm tired of washing these knives because there will be nothing else in the family! This is an absolutely essential knife in our house. I bought this 3 piece cleaning kit a few months ago and am very happy with it. They are light, fit well in the hand and are pleasant to use. This is exactly what I was looking for. A little more than what I replaced. With a slightly larger, very comfortable handle and a slightly longer blade. The blade is strong but only flexes slightly, which is nice. It has a very fine and even tapered cut from top to bottom on both sides, making it cut straight top to bottom.
