This small plastic core is a bit thin on its own, but serves its purpose. If you decide to bake cupcakes with fillings, don't bother making a perfect hole with a knife, spoon or straw, take the core and save time and energy. Very easy to use, comes with 2 nozzles, the smaller tube is great for small cupcakes and the larger tube is great for giant cupcakes or cupcakes.

I needed this to bake filled cupcakes with my granddaughter. Not only does it pierce them, but the cake comes out in one piece and you simply push the plunger to remove it from the device. It comes with two different sizes that will come in handy. My 5 year old granddaughter was very easy to deal with and every cupcake was perfect. Very easy to use.
