No kitchen is complete without them!

Chicken fillet is whipped almost effortlessly without tearing it. Tenderizer Spikes are great for veal and, when used carefully, are great for seasoning meat. Easy to clean in the dishwasher without losing its beautiful finish. Sooo much better than aluminum or wooden mallets!

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Heavy and durable. Just what you need to smooth Scalopini!

I had a cheap aluminum double hammer that was torn rather than flattened. And one day I say boss using this tool and I search myself and find it low. it's so cool Clubs really do get softer, and that's a good thing. But you have to be careful, they sting. The price is just perfect in my opinion. A very good quality. I highly recommend it. It will crunch, pierce and flatten anything you give it.

  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Disappointing quality

Design could be improved. If it is currently configured as a pound, only three threads are involved due to the pointed side. The pen could fit in a number of dots, but they chose the lazy route. Functionally it's probably good, but bad design. Update: I was terribly mistaken. If the plastic spike protection is removed, the grip screws between the rows of points and grabs many more threads on the grip. I apologize to the company. I have updated the rating.

Great for beating thin cuts of meat

This thing works GREAT for getting a thin and nice cut of meat by breaking down tendons and tough fibers. I use it to finely chop chicken breasts for schnitzel, milanese, etc. I also use it to chop up some cuts of beef, e.g. B. a roast for roulades. I'm not a big fan of using the pointed side because it looks like it will spread bacteria (since you can't cover it with cling film/foil/etc) and I'm a bit germ shy haha! But otherwise it's a great tool. Nice and heavy, it cleans up easily in the…

No issues with spikes

I'm not the type to post a lot of reviews but I wanted to clear up some misinformation in other reviews. While the maneuverability of this meat grinder means the tenderizer tips face up when using the flat side, there's a large extension on the handle that prevents even the slippiest of hands from hitting the spikes. Throw away that little plastic thing (it's just for shipping protection) and just grab the handle. Anyone who manages to hurt themselves probably shouldn't even have butter knives…

  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Doubtful

great product, a small blemish.

This meat grinder is ideal for chicken and veal cutlets. It's heavy, so it doesn't require a full lift and swivel. The head covers a large area, which makes work even easier. How well it works, I'm completely satisfied. I think the head is stainless steel but it's not listed in the product description (as opposed to just lb). As described, the handle unscrews to switch sides of the head. This makes it easier to clean the base in the dishwasher. I wouldn't feel comfortable putting the pen in a…

Spikes can be problematic

I didn't quite understand how this was built. I thought the knobbed surface was a prefix. It's not like this. This is the other side of a flat surface. A screw goes through the middle of the handle into which the shock plate is screwed. It can be flipped over like a coin, flat or pointed side down. This means if you want to use a flat surface, the spikes need to be facing up. And because there isn't a large flange at the base of the handle, the spikes make contact with the hand. Now I…

Should have bought a year ago. (edited: no longer recommended).

The perfect compromise between weight and ease of use. Much easier than using my trusty old empty sherry bottles to flatten a chicken. The handle is very comfortable in my large hands and feels like it will take my constant pounding (obviously what it's designed for). I'm not sure I really need a tenderizer disk: I rarely go that route. Should have bought a year ago. I hope it stands up to my insults. About 10 chickens survived with him. We've flattened skinless chicken breasts for a few family
