🔪 Norpro Stainless Steel Scraper/Chopper for Effortless Cooking, 6in/15cm x 4in/10cm Review

I'm so glad I bought this. It really helps get food off my cutting board and into the bowl/pot/pan I'm transferring it to. The price was great and it's good quality and sturdy. Plus, it makes you feel a little more organized when trying to have dinner together! You can put it in the dishwasher if you don't want to hand wash it and that's always an added bonus for me.

I've been trying to limit the amount of kitchenware I buy but ended up buying a bench scraper. I didn't know what I could do with it until I bought it. This is definitely a must have for bread bakers as it makes it easier to cut the dough into smaller pieces. I also use it for cleaning my work area, preparing ingredients, cutting and scooping, measuring. This particular bench scraper feels heavy and I've put it in the dishwasher with no problem.

I bought these 2 months ago and have used them about 5 times. It says it's dishwasher safe, but I only hand washed this item with a soft sponge. After about the 3rd use I noticed that the markings started to fade. The next time I used it, I cut buns and noticed the ink transferred to the dough. Pooh! I rinsed it thoroughly again, and now the marks are almost completely gone. I suppose I can still use it as a scraper, but I originally bought it for measuring (slicing even cinnamon rolls, etc.)…

This is a pretty essential tool for baking bread. It is excellent for scraping dough from all types of surfaces. This is especially useful when working with sticky no-knead recipes. It's also great for separating dough or moving pieces around. And the all-metal construction makes it easy to clean when things get sticky. And it gets sticky if you use it properly. However, I disagree that it counts as a grinder. Knives are designed for cutting. This thing isn't sharp, and sharpening with a stone…
