Not what was advertised

I needed a pressure gauge to prove 0-200. The sent differs from the picture. It has "idiotic" sections for beer, wine, dessert wine. (As in the product name)...nowhere is the 160-180 proof I needed.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

There is no guide for this.

It broke the first time we used it. Apparently very fragile. The glass shattered and all the beads fell out. Not sure if it was operator error or not as the only paper supplied was temporary. correction table.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • A long time ago

A big problem! on Test, Measure & Inspect

Just one important PROBLEM! This hydrometer does EXACTLY what it was designed to do, which is to measure and detect alcohol content in distilled spirits. It's accurate, easy to read, and well done. The PROBLEM I have is that I seem to have missed mine so now I have to buy another one and it will be exactly the same.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Periodicity

A good hydrometer for the price.

There were no instructions and the paper in the areometer moves a little. It will read accurately if you calibrate it in 60° tap water and find a zero and then I suggest marking it with a black marker so you know where the zero is when you move the measuring paper in.

Pros
  • So far satisfied
Cons
  • Almost everything there

Attention Good price, but not everything you need!

Please send the instructions for use! And the painting advertised on Revain is not the one I received. Wouldn't have ordered if the case didn't also fit on the test boat. Based on other reviews I'm not the only one. Please make it the right amazon! Support your ad! The hydrometer works well if you borrow a jar from a friend. It would be nice to know if you are using the correct one, but there are no instructions to clarify.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Crumpled

The case does NOT serve as a test tube as stated in the description.

The description says you can use the case that comes with it as a test tube. I expected the vial to hold the correct volume needed for testing. it is about 4 inches smaller than for testing. The hydrometer is about 12 inches long and the longer half of the body is about 8 inches long. the other half around 7.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

The product has improved compared to the previous purchase!

Replaced the one that broke about a year later, bought from the same company. The lower part is now more durable thanks to a redesign that results in the glass being thicker than a sheet of paper, to the point of a visible bulge. For the same price! They have also improved their product by adding a small temperature conversion chart on paper and quality packaging (although glass supply should always be considered a priority). Now I'm writing more reviews as I'm not happy with this ultra easy…

Pros
  • Great range
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

The description says that you can use the case in the form of a test tube for testing. .it is not so. it is about 4 inches shorter than for testing. The hydrometer is about 12 inches long and the longer half of the body is about 8 inches long. the other half around 7.

Pros
  • Test, measure & inspect
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

Not really impressed

Seems to work. But since it's not exactly what I thought, I order another one and compare the readings to 2. Some say the readings are inaccurate, some say everything is fine, but I can't verify, I can't tell whether it's true or not. 't. The case it comes in won't work for you as a test glass if you plan on testing more reliable stuff. First thoughts are that since the description wasn't entirely accurate, I have to question the witness testimony as well. Save and compare with others. If they…
