My dogs love this food

I feed my dogs fresh raw food. But I was looking for convenience foods that I could keep on the shelf for emergencies (hurricane season is a real thing where I live, we have to be prepared for the worst). Food. My dogs seem to prefer Northwest Naturals to any other brand we've tried. I don't know if it's the texture or the taste but all my dogs love it so much I now give it a few times a week instead of their regular fresh food. Highly recommended.

The ingredients are super helpful. It's expensive

My little dog who wrinkled his nose at every bite of dog food and doesn't like canned dog food loves this food. She eats it alone, mixed with liquid, or with meat and vegetables. If you're a picky eater and worried he's not getting the nutrients he needs, you can try this. The ingredients are super helpful. It's expensive but my little girl doesn't eat a lot in a day so it works for us. But I don't know about the big dog. This package could be completed in about a day. I've had enough for a…

Puppy Seal of Approval

I buy Northwest Naturals because the meat is freeze dried, which means more nutrients are retained. Packages of nuggets are kept in a plastic container and I choose different flavors for my dog's breakfast. Then I moisten the nuggets; Some only take a few minutes, like turkey, while others take longer, like beef, which feels like denser nuggets. However, if I put them on the floor before putting them away for storage, you'll see what happens. Puppies love them dry. I broke these nuggets into…

Healthy freeze dried food.

The only food my dog will eat. I am convinced of the quality and the ease of feeding this food. Because it's freeze dried I can feed my dog for free without worrying about contamination or spoilage. He even tries to share it with us by bringing us a cube to break for him. We watch him chew it down. The cubes are 1 inch and are easy for my 10 pound dog to chew and carry around when he wants to be spoiled. Since it's made in my backwoods, I trust the source. We are very happy with our dog. We've…

Warning - lots of crumbs!

My dog loves the product! My intended purpose is to use as a training treat. The biggest issue I have is probably not even the product itself, but the condition of the product itself after it has gone through all of Revain's processing and shipping. Most of the pouch is now mostly powder, making it useless to me. I don't need or want to use him as a blender with his food. If you intend to use this product purely as a workout treat, do yourself a favor and buy it from the store. If you are okay…

My dog is so picky about food.

My dog is a very picky eater, most likely because of the Maltese. Ever since we adopted him as a pup he has been picking at his food at random; we could leave it for a few days before it's done. We went from regular coarse foods to premium foods, then to frozen raw foods (resulting in many discarded plates of half-eaten food sitting around too long), and finally to a mix of super-premium kibbles and dehydrated raw foods, but always what we tried too, he was guaranteed not to finish it. Then we…

Not the best option for small dogs

I am converting my 13 year old Doxy to raw food. Needless to say, what I think is the best option for Dr. Marty started. He liked it, the coat got shinier, more energetic, a full thirty feet long, but at $57 a bag, not the best. So I looked for other options. Northwest Naturals appears to have had good reviews, although most people have used it as a treat or as a dietary supplement. For Moose it was food. Here's what I like: 1) My dog likes it. Here's what I'm having trouble with: 1) It…

Great for picky eaters!

I have a small breed puppy, 6 months old, 5 pounds. Ever since I brought him home he's been picky about food. He didn't seem to like kibble so I switched him to Stella and Chewy dehydrated raw food. At first I liked it, but then I didn't eat it. I tried different flavors which helped but he still wouldn't eat his food with meals. This is a problem because he is so small that he cannot go long without food. Big dogs can last longer - all "they eat when they're hungry" doesn't apply to small…
