Disappointing Performance of Sharpening Tool

When I tried this finishing product, it did not live up to its promises. Despite its industrial and scientific claims, the Norton Medium India Bench Stone left my tools dull and unusable. While it may be affordable, the quality of this abrasive & finishing product leaves much to be desired.

Pros
  • Affordable
Cons
  • Inadequate sharpening capabilities

Large Medium Grit Oil Stone

If I only had one oil stone I would be good but this one is still great. I also have a rough one but I don't use it because it's quite aggressive, if I need more I choose diamond. Most of the oil rock development ended up in heavy Arkansas for me.

Pros
  • This oil stone is great for effectively repairing and maintaining the razor sharp edges needed on simple household tools such as kitchen knives, hunting knives and many more
Cons
  • Damaged

Use directly on power and hand tools

Beautiful stone. I did not buy here. But read the reviews and if anyone who doesn't know any better followed what was said here, they won't have a good day. First use the oil on this stone. Water cannot float metal filings like oil and will clog your stone over time. Two. From this, jump to any 4000 rock. This rock is less than 500 grit, so you may want to get 800.1000.1500.2000.

Pros
  • This knife sharpening stone is a medium grit oil stone designed to enhance the smooth cutting edges of household tools.
Cons
  • Skimpy Instructions
