Best Bang for the Buck

I just rebuilt our home that we lost in the 2017 California wildfires. I had a home that was equipped with a full CAT6 LAN plus two home theater systems with 7.1 speakers plus speakers in each room and 38 16/2 wires for automatic blinds all back to the media cabinet in our closet. For a few days I've been looking for an inexpensive tester that can be used to test BNC and CAT cables. My choice fell on this model, NF-8601W or NF-388. My group already has a basic small CAT tester, a BNC general purpose tester, and an expensive Fluke, but I wanted something that combined the first two without the expense associated with a Fluke test tool since technicians can be picky about equipment and I do I can't afford to constantly replace $2,000 worth of equipment. I ended up buying…
