But only works after soldering

After encountering many problems using this CNC screen, I found an article online that explains that the jumper pins on many of these cheaper boards are tied low and not tied high (when the jumper is installed is). I had to solder the leads to the 5V rail for it to work properly. It works, but the buyer beware.

Great for projects, but there is one major downside!

The circuit diagram of this board and other similar boards available on the Internet is incorrect regarding microstep jumpers. If you look at the back of the board you can see that all of the traces for these jumpers connect the microstepping pins to ground when installed. This is wrong and doesn't matter, so you can't change the microstepping configuration with jumpers. I removed all the jumpers and soldered a small jumper to the pins on the back to set the desired micro spacing and everything
