It goes together with Allen head set screws, and the correct Allen key is included.The galvanized shelf is fully height adjustable which is a huge plus.The backsplash and wonderful rounded corners make this a really classy and useful work table.Yes getting the film off was a little bit of a pain, but the use of a hairdryer makes it go faster.I highly recommend this table as a quality item for a very reasonable price.

Functionally this table is great for my needs. Like many other reviewers my table was damaged during shipment. There was no evidence from the shipping carton on the outside but on the inside the Styrofoam was in pieces. The tabletop and bottom shelf had been bent do to a impact of some kind. Returning a bulky like this is difficult and often costly. So I grabbed a pair of pliers and gently tried to bend thing back into place. I bought this table to lift my Bradley smoker up for my convenience. I just assembled it today. The table is weighty enough to be sturdy, easy to assemble and clean looking. There is a plastic tape wrap on the table and shelf to protect it during transport and that took some time to pull off. I wiped the table top with mineral spirits to remove the bits that I couldn’t pick off. I plan to leave this table outside year round on my deck so stainless steel should work well.

This is a fairly sturdy table. Would be great in a commercial kitchen or a shop. Legs are sturdy and can easily be cut down to a height that you want, since it is countertop height. I thought that it was going to be too high, and that I would need to get different chairs or stools. When I was assembling it (took 20 minutes), I noticed that the feet are height adjustable, and the legs are medium-thin tubing. I got out my tubing cutter and cut the legs to standard table height.
