Excellent Resistance for Circuit Protection

As my tests showed, this terminal resistance is highly reliable in protecting electrical circuits against overcurrents. Its design is compact and easy to install, making it a convenient solution for industrial electrical applications. The only downside is that it may not be suitable for high-frequency applications due to its limited frequency range. Nonetheless, the NTE Electronics R58 15A Terminal Resistance is a top-notch choice for industrial circuit protection.

Pros
  • Durable and reliable for long-term use.
Cons
  • Slightly expensive compared to other similar products.

Repairing my electric fireplace

The original 15 amp thermal switch in our 20 year old electric fireplace continued to trip. I was looking for replacement parts from a manufacturer that indicated the original part was discontinued. After some research I decided to take a chance and use this option as a replacement and it was truly plug and play. Our fireplace now works as it should! Also, it appears to be a higher quality part than the original.

Pros
  • Breakers, load centers and fuses
Cons
  • gone

I have a belt driven AC lathe on .

I modified the AC motor, belt drive lathe to replace the DC motor on the treadmill and the control board to drive my lathe directly so I have stepless speed control. I've found that if I turn the motor off with too much load, the motor will try to draw DC endlessly. This will overheat the control board and trip the 20 amp AC switch on the control panel. I put a 15A DC thermal switch in the motor power line and that fixed the problem. Now all I have to do is restart the treadmill motor when this
