Item works great on my bike. It's chromed plastic. If you're switching from red lenses, you may need red bulbs. I went to the local auto parts store and all they had were red LED light bulbs. They look nice, but because of the low power, the flash works faster. However, you can order red bulbs at the same time.

Of all the reviews complaining about the fit, all I can say is that the lens is pressed, not the outer ring. These things look amazing. They fit perfectly and give the lights a unique and individual look. And all without having to pay Harley tax. So you look amazing. It needed a little tweaking. The rubber gasket had to be removed from the LED lens before the lens cap could be attached. I also had to file the contact points on the lens cap as it was very tight. After that it fit perfectly and I actually heard it click into place. Where the chrome goes together, it looks almost seamless and fits together exactly. I recommend this product. Ask me if you have any questions.
