Unstable due to extension but still usable

Compared to another similar stand on the market that didn't have an extension, this one seems less stable (wobbles when I'm typing on my laptop)). It's also a bit crooked so my screen isn't level and I don't think there's a way to fix it or make any adjustments. Next time I would use the stand without the extension cord.

Pros
  • Great overall performance

  • Something different

SUPERB QUALITY - STAND

What a great laptop stand! Very durable, easy to carry and lightweight, slim and beautiful design. I was surprised at how well built this stand was. A 15-inch laptop can easily be accommodated. Sometimes I type on a laptop when it's on a stand and the stand doesn't move or flex under the weight of my hands. The higher height of this stand is perfect for how I use the stand on a bar height table as a bar table. Very happy with this purchase.

Not so strong for heavier laptops

The product description says it can hold up to 22 pounds. The packaging the product arrived in states that it supports up to 13.23 lbs. I've tried this with two laptops -- a 5.68-pound laptop that's 1 inch thick, 15.08 inches wide, and 10.43 inches deep -- and a 3.53-pound laptop with one At 0.8 inches thick, 13.1 inches wide, and 9 inches deep, it seems solid enough for a 3.53-pound laptop, but not for a 5.68-pound laptop. The shelf it sits on feels too wobbly for the heavier weight and I…

UPDATED: New Work from Home Essentials

I use a laptop at home that often overheats and I assumed this was due to issues with some vents. The real reason was that it was laying flat on my desk and the bottom vents were causing it to overheat. After using this full size laptop stand with keyboard and mouse, my gaming laptop runs much smoother than ever. It is compact and suitable for people of different heights. TO UPDATE. I've been using the UPERFECT 4K Portable Monitor for a few months now, and while its stand is great for changing…

Hands down the best laptop stand

I've always been interested in PCs, but switched to Apple in the last two years. I love my MBP but I really hate its ergonomics. I've been looking for a great solution to this for so long. I originally wanted to get the Twelvesouth MBP stand but it didn't fit my setup. I tried a conventional laptop stand with a built in fan and thought it might help. It's not like this. Then I stumbled across this stand and it is by far the best purchase I have made for my MBP. I use an external SSD and the…

Sturdy, a little stiff

I got tired of constantly piling up books for Zoom conferences and saw this when a friend posted her remote learning device for her kids. This seems significant. The hinges on the "Z" are pretty tight: I had to check the diagram on the box (to make sure I didn't push something to the point of breaking) when I first opened the stand. No, the way it's done. It's fairly hefty, so it's not the kind of stand you can throw in a backpack for coffee shop work (not that anyone walks much during a…
