We needed a rug so our grandson wouldn't hurt himself while crawling on the tiles. This is excellent quality. Thick enough to look good, you can walk, sit or lie on it, and thin enough to roll up and put away. It's not just cheap stuff. This is a real carpet. I recommend this product.

Great inexpensive rug and it's cute! The octopus design transforms a very matte gray short-pile nylon carpet into a whimsical, interesting, yet understated design element. I have it in my bedroom but now I wish I had bought the biggest one and put it in my living room. The colors and shades indicate that it has not shown dirt or wear for a very long time. Soft on bare feet, no noticeable odor. Do not be shy.

Looks great in our room with lots of dirt, moisture and traffic. However, this is a small part of what you get for what you pay for. Some cheap machine made rug but then know that for the price it was sold for this was not a hand knotted silk wool rug so don't expect much. Not so thin that the quality is compromised, but not so thick that the cleaning robot (Shark brand) has trouble moving back and forth. We have parquet floors, so the carpet is much softer. This rug looks very cool. Octopus that is. The carpet is thin and the backing is made of a fibrous material that doesn't want to appear flat. The rug is delivered folded and I can't get the folds out. They say you should put books in it! I've been trying to wait, so I might have to resort to books. I was so excited to receive my BIG Octopus Mat; and boy was I disappointed to discover it was one of those rugs that never lays flat; even after giving you enough time (weeks) to settle down. First, the 10 x 14 rug arrived folded, not rolled, and those creases have not gone away. Now I have to move all my furniture again to pick up the carpet to come back.
